Farmhouse Paso Robles
Country-cottage chic meets wine-country weekend. Laid-back and personal, with artisanal touches throughout. More front-porch-and-a-glass-of-rosé than business-center-and-concierge.
Book the Farmhouse Superior if you want a private courtyard with your own fire pit — it's 50 sq ft larger and worth the upgrade
Why It Matters
One of the few walkable-to-downtown lodging options in Paso Robles wine country. Nomada Hotel Group pulled off a genuinely thoughtful restoration — preserving the 1947 footprint and original neon sign while upgrading every inch of the guest experience. The property is nominated for Travel + Leisure's 2026 World's Best Awards for Hotels in California.
A 1947 motor lodge reimagined as a 26-room boutique retreat by Nomada Hotel Group. Country-cottage architecture — red tin roofs, white board-and-batten siding, ranch-style porches, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams — sits just a few blocks from Paso Robles' downtown square. Rooms are small (most at 220 sq ft) but loaded: Zellige tile bathrooms, Matouk robes, Susan Hable artwork on the walls, and curated mini bars stocked with local wine and craft spirits. No pool, no spa, no on-site restaurant. But the landscaped courtyard with fire pits, rose gardens, citrus and olive trees, and free Linus bikes make it hard to notice what's missing.
