Why It Matters
The first hospitality venture from the iconic Field & Stream brand (established 1871). Founded by Starwood Capital Group and AJ Capital Partners, it serves as the flagship for a planned national expansion into outdoor destinations. Country music stars Morgan Wallen and Eric Church own the Field & Stream brand behind it.
The flagship property of Field & Stream Lodge Co., opened May 2025 — this is the outdoor magazine brand's first-ever hotel. It's a 179-room lodge one mile from downtown Bozeman, built as a no-fuss basecamp for anglers, skiers, and hikers heading to Yellowstone, Bridger Bowl, or the Gallatin River. Designed by AJ Capital Partners and backed by Starwood Capital Group, the interiors lean hard into Field & Stream's 150-year archive: vintage magazine covers line the fitness center walls, wool camp blankets dress every bed, and peg board storage handles the wet gear.
