Glavas Inn
Greek seaside boutique with genuine family warmth. Not flashy, not corporate. The kind of place where the owners' dog wanders the gardens and the family actually lives on-site year-round.

Why It Matters
Featured in both the Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels — unusual for a 3-star rated property in Halkidiki. The combination of commanding Toroneos Gulf views, a genuine family-run ethos going back 35 years, a Green Key sustainability certification, and an all-inclusive offering that guests consistently praise for quality sets it apart from the package-holiday competition in the region.
Glavas Inn is a family-run boutique resort that has been on this hillside since 1990, started by Dimitris and Flora Glavas and now run by their three children. It sits about 100 meters from a good sandy-shingle beach on the Toroneos Gulf, built amphitheatrically into the hillside so almost every room looks out over the water. The décor leans minimal — earthy tones, custom furnishings, marble bathroom surfaces — letting the seascape do the heavy lifting. All-inclusive is the main board option, and the food is a genuine strength: Mediterranean and Greek dishes prepared daily with local ingredients, including herbs grown on-site.
