Why It Matters
The only AAA Four Diamond hotel in Greenville, and one of the most architecturally distinctive lodges in the South. Sitting directly above the Reedy River Falls, it's part of the Kessler Collection — a group of 11 boutique art-forward hotels — and participates in Marriott Bonvoy, making it redeemable with points (42,000–70,000 per night). The art gallery inside is fully shoppable and open to the public.
Opened in August 2022, the Grand Bohemian Lodge sits right on the edge of Falls Park on the Reedy River — think floor-to-ceiling windows, antler chandeliers, a four-sided stone fireplace in the lobby, a Bösendorfer concert piano, and a deep purple couch you'll want to photograph. It's an AAA Four Diamond property from the Kessler Collection, built in a rustic national-park-lodge aesthetic that somehow feels completely current inside. The 187-room hotel has no pool, but it has one of the best locations of any hotel in downtown Greenville: Falls Park's waterfalls are literally outside your window, Liberty Bridge is a short walk, and the whole walkable downtown is under 10 minutes on foot.

Widely regarded as the best value step-up room in the hotel. At 600 sq ft, it gets you a separate living area, corner position, walk-out balcony with Falls Park views, and — crucially — a bathroom upgrade: soaking tub plus a separate marble shower. The wraparound balcony is generously sized and genuinely usable.

A niche option for guests who want to roll out of bed and onto a Peloton. Located just steps from the Peloton Studio. Standard king room setup with city views and the usual marble shower-only bathroom. Unique in concept.

Falls Park views without the balcony. A few of these rooms sit one floor below the lobby level, carved into the stone cliff face — closer to the waterfalls than most rooms in the building. Shower-only marble bathroom.

Same footprint as the standard King Room but with views of Falls Park and a Juliet balcony. The waterfall views are a genuine step up. Marble shower-only bathroom. Worth the upgrade if the outdoor connection matters.

Entry-level room with a king bed, city views, and plenty of natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows. Marble bathroom has a walk-in shower only — no tub. Comes with a Nespresso machine, mini-fridge, flat-panel TV, and the hotel's signature faux-fur throw. Closet shares a sliding barn door with the bathroom, which some guests find a bit awkward.
KingKing Suite
At 700 sq ft, this suite adds a separate living area with a sofa bed to the standard king setup. City views, plenty of natural light, and the shower-only marble bathroom. Good for anyone wanting more space to spread out without going full presidential.
KingLiberty Loft
The most architecturally unique room in the hotel — a bi-level loft with over 1,100 sq ft spread across two floors. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the Falls Park views from both levels. King bed, sofa bed, full refrigerator plus mini-fridge. The trade-off: the bathroom has a walk-in marble shower only (no soaking tub, despite the suite's status). Still, the drama of the two-level layout makes it special.
KingThe Mill Suite
680 sq ft of Falls Park-facing space with a separate living area and king bed. Shower-only marble bathroom. A solid mid-tier suite option with good views and room to breathe.
