Bad Ragaz has been a healing destination since 1242, when monks from Pfäfers Abbey first tapped a 36.5°C thermal spring in the Tamina Gorge. Grand Hotel Hof Ragaz — Room
Historic five-star hotel on the resort campus. The ground floor is undergoing major modernisation from February 2026 through December 2026 — rooms remain available but some ground-floor services are disrupted. Stylish and comfortable with the full resort's amenities at hand.
Grand Hotel Quellenhof — King Suite
The flagship suite in the Quellenhof. Features both private fitness and spa areas — a level above the standard suites in the building. Natural stone baths flanked by large window panes.
Grand Hotel Quellenhof — Standard Room
Part of the flagship hotel, fully renovated by Swiss architect Claudio Carbone. Contemporary design with natural stone bathrooms, large windows, and elegant shading. Tradition and modernism coexist throughout.
Hotel Palais Bad Ragaz — Room
The oldest building in the resort, dating to 1774. A listed 18th-century palace that was the governor's office before becoming a hotel. Princely proportions, high ceilings, and individual historic character. Note: no dogs allowed in this building.
Penthouse Suite
The single largest and most prestigious room in the resort, sitting at the very top of the Spa Tower. Morning sun illuminates the living room in warm tones through floor-to-ceiling windows. Fresh flowers, mountain panoramas, and complete privacy.
