Declared a South African National Monument in 1993. The estate dates to a 1715 land grant to the Bosman family. Originally the farm stable, it sits in its own secluded garden setting with a lounge, king-size bedroom, double shower, spa bath, private sun terrace and an enclosed courtyard patio. Ideal for honeymoons and anniversaries — and the hotel's own website calls it their best. Private Jacuzzi. No shared garden with other guests.

Heritage Suites (Duplex Suites)
Five duplex suites converted from the estate's original slave quarters, each named for Dutch colonial trading posts: Java, Jasmijn, Batavia, Malabaar and Koljanner. Spacious split-level layout with a lounge and sleeper couch downstairs and the main bedroom upstairs — good for families. Garden views from the upper level.

18 suites arranged in trios across the estate, built in the original Cape colonial style with thatched roofs, shutters and trailing vines.
