Gut Klostermühle is a nature resort and medical spa on the shores of Lake Madlitz in Brandenburg, about an hour east of Berlin. The estate dates back to a 14th-century monastic watermill — the restored mill wheel still turns today, generating electricity and gently waking guests with its sound. Sixty-six rooms and suites spread across a cluster of historic and modern buildings, plus 15 self-catering holiday homes and apartments directly on or near the lake.
