A 12-room family-run inn in the Provençal village of Le Rouret, about 30 minutes from Nice and Cannes but feeling genuinely removed from the coast. The property spans two beautifully restored 19th-century stone buildings — La Bastide (the old farmhouse) and La Bergerie (the former sheepfold) — set within a 5,000m² garden of century-old olive trees. Owners Annick and Guy Garnier run the place with a warmth that guests consistently remark on. And just steps away sits the Michelin-starred Le Clos Saint Pierre, making dinner plans easy.
