Former residence of Post-Impressionist painter Henri de Saint-Delis (born 1878), whose original artworks — some available for purchase — remain on display throughout. A 17th-century painter's house turned 5-star Relais & Châteaux, sitting dead-center in Honfleur's historic quarter, two hours from Paris by car. The place sat empty for years before being fully gutted and renovated, opening as a boutique hotel in 2020. Nine individually decorated rooms, no on-site restaurant, no pool, no gym — and recently converted to adults-only. But it's intimate and beautiful in the way only a properly old, storied house can be. Original paintings by the eponymous Post-Impressionist Henri de Saint-Delis still hang on the walls.

The top of the house — 40 to 46 sqm of generous, high-ceilinged space with a dedicated lounge area, whirlpool bath, and steam shower. Generous garden views. One guest review called it 'a room with 3 exposures and high ceilings.' The lounge feels genuinely lived-in rather than staged. This is the one to book for a special occasion.
