Hotel Bella Grande is a 4-star boutique hotel that opened in 2024 in a lovingly restored 1899 building steps from Copenhagen's City Hall Square. The interiors are a deliberate break from Nordic minimalism: candy-striped banquettes, checkerboard marble floors, peach-coloured walls under silk lampshades, and a glass-roofed atrium courtyard where guests and locals gather at Italian restaurant Donna. It's owned and operated by Copenhagen Food Collective (Cofoco), the hospitality group behind 20 of the city's most-loved restaurants, and was voted one of the best hotels in Europe in Condé Nast Traveller's Readers' Choice Awards 2025.
