Hotel Bellevue sits just above the centre of Obergurgl at 1,930 metres, run by three generations of the Steiner family. It's a 4-star superior property with 48 rooms across six floors, connected via a heated underground tunnel to its sister hotel, the Gourmet & Wine Hotel Austria — meaning guests get access to a Michelin-starred restaurant without stepping outside. Skiing is the primary reason people come here (112km of pistes guaranteed from November to late April), but the summer hiking and via ferrata scene is genuinely good too.

The rocky mountainside via ferrata routes around Obergurgl are a genuine highlight of the summer season. Challenging, technical, and rewarding with exceptional high-alpine scenery.
A 3km snow-sure natural toboggan run in Hochgurgl with 25 turns descending from the mountain to the Hochgurgl gondola base station.
Obergurgl floodlights the 8km blue piste No. 6 every Monday evening. Hochgurgl offers night skiing every Thursday. One of the better resort perks in the area.
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the nearest ski lift, close to a ski run leading to the Hohe Mut gondola. The Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski area has 112km of pistes across 25 modern lifts with virtually no queues. Snow is guaranteed mid-November to late April. The area reaches 3,080m at the top.
