Designed and owned by the Bennett family — native Charlestonians — it pairs European-inspired architecture with genuine Southern hospitality. The lobby rotunda is hand-painted with murals, the salmon-pink Camellias champagne lounge is lined with etched mirrors and Fabergé-inspired crystal chandeliers, and the rooftop Fiat Lux bar looks out over the steeple-punctuated skyline. It's a new build that actually fits its surroundings, which is harder to pull off than it sounds.

The most luxurious suite in Charleston, by the hotel's own account, and available exclusively upon request. This two-story, 2,380 sq ft suite was personally designed by the Bennett family who own the hotel. Features a dining area for six, gourmet kitchen with butler's pantry and wine cooler, two living areas, and an 838 sq ft wrap-around terrace overlooking Marion Square. The upper floor has a private office, master suite with walk-in closet, dressing room, and a spa-style bathroom. King's Club access included.
