Hotel Clark Budapest sits on one of the most singular plots in Hungary — Clark Ádám Square, the ceremonial zero-kilometer point of the country, wedged between the Chain Bridge and the Castle Hill funicular. The building opened in April 2018 after years of architectural debate over this 677 sqm corner site. From the street it reads as restrained and contemporary; step inside and the interior explodes with color, Art Deco references, lion motifs, and postmodern whimsy. All 86 rooms are adults-only.

Faces the historic Royal Castle and the Chain Bridge. At 24.2 sqm it is compact, but there is a dedicated 'reading corner' and the castle-and-bridge view is genuinely impressive. Good entry point into the hotel's view-facing room categories.

A roomy studio category with direct views over the Chain Bridge and Danube. Bigger than the standard rooms at 30–35 sqm, and the view is the main attraction — floor-to-ceiling windows frame the bridge perfectly.

Double-glazed windows frame the Chain Bridge panorama. At 25.5 sqm it is not large, but the view through those windows is the point. Lion motif details throughout the room nod to the bridge's stone lions outside.

The top accommodation category. A proper suite with a separate living room, panoramic city views, and a luxurious soaking tub. Cozy sofa for the view, king bed for the sleep. These were added later, upgrading the hotel from a four-star.

The entry-level Danube-facing room. Just 19 sqm, which is genuinely small — guests have flagged this. But the large panorama window and the Chain Bridge evening lights make it feel bigger than the square footage suggests. Best for those who plan to spend most of their time out exploring.

A rotating contemporary art exhibition program running since 2021, hosted in the hotel lobby and Leo Bistro. The 9th edition in 2026 features work by Hungarian abstract artist Judit Horváth Lóczi. Opening vernissages are ticketed events with drinks, food, and sometimes live performance. Free to view during normal hotel hours.
