Why It Matters

Eight suites inside a converted 17th-century palazzo on a quiet cobbled lane in Rome's Rione Regola. The whole place is built around wine — a cellar of over 1,500 labels, every suite stocked with its own private wine cooler, and a staff composed entirely of professional sommeliers. The vibe is glamorous but intimate, think mid-century Dolce Vita with hand-drawn Roman frescoes on the walls and vintage Italian furniture throughout.
