Why It Matters

Omaha's only luxury boutique hotel occupies a 1930 Art Deco landmark building on the National Register of Historic Places. It's a Tapestry Collection by Hilton property that also holds a spot in the Michelin Guide hotel selection — a notable distinction for a mid-sized Midwestern city.

Hotel Deco occupies the Redick Tower, a 14-floor Art Deco landmark built in 1930 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, sitting at the corner of 15th and Harney in downtown Omaha. It's Omaha's only luxury boutique hotel, and while the bones are nearly a century old, the interior is a sharp, contemporary interpretation of the era — monochrome palette, neoclassical lines, and a quirky Alice in Wonderland design thread running through every room. The Orpheum Theatre is literally across the street, and the Old Market dining and shopping district is a short walk away.

King Guestroom

The standard king rooms are the entry point into Hotel Deco's design world. Each one comes with custom watercolor wallpaper, lounge-style seating, powder-coated gold period closet doors, and a working desk. The Alice in Wonderland thread shows up subtly: carpeting beneath the bed features an upside-down sky, and the bathroom art nods to the rabbit hole. Bathrooms have subway tile, granite finishes, and a four-headed artisan spa shower.
