Hotel Granada Midtown
Spanish Bohemian meets Southern Charm — old-world European architecture with local Atlanta soul. Moody cocktail bar downstairs, sunny courtyard dining above. The vibes lean romantic and independent rather than corporate.
Courtyard-facing rooms are considered the best in the hotel — that's where the energy is, and you get the architectural views
Why It Matters
Named one of the Best Hotels in Atlanta by Condé Nast Traveler. It's Atlanta's only Spanish Colonial boutique hotel and one of Midtown's rare low-rise properties, directly across from the Arts Center MARTA station. The building has been a neighborhood fixture since the 1920s.
A four-story Spanish Colonial building that originally opened in 1923/1924 as the Granada Apartments, Hotel Granada is Midtown Atlanta's most distinctive boutique hotel — a creamy stucco and red-tile-roof anomaly standing defiantly against the glass towers that surround it. Renovated and reopened in August 2024 under Aparium Hotel Group, the horseshoe-shaped property centers on Pom Court, a leafy open-air courtyard that doubles as an all-day restaurant. The design leans hard into 'Spanish Bohemian meets Southern Charm': terracotta floors, deep rustic greens, brass fixtures, archways, and art curated in collaboration with the Savannah College of Art & Design.

The hotel runs periodic events tied to Atlanta's arts and cultural calendar. Being steps from the Woodruff Arts Center, High Museum of Art, and Center for Puppetry Arts makes the hotel a natural base for Atlanta's cultural scene.
Hotel Granada actively welcomes dogs and other pets — up to 2 pets per room. The hotel has a dedicated 'Pack Your Pup' experience page indicating they've put thought into pet-friendly stays.
Daily grab-and-go counter service starting at 6:30am with espresso, drip coffee, smoothies, and breakfast pastries. Full counter service runs until 1pm; grab-and-go options available all day.
On weekend evenings, Pom Court hosts live music in the courtyard, creating an atmosphere that pulls in both hotel guests and Midtown locals. Genre varies by week.
