A family-run 4-star boutique hotel spread across three historic 18th- and 19th-century buildings right on the Leie canal in Ghent's Patershol quarter. The location is genuinely exceptional — Gravensteen Castle is 100 metres away, the medieval city centre is on your doorstep, and the cobblestone streets of Belgium's most underrated city are yours to wander. But the real surprise is the heated outdoor pool out back, which is almost unheard of for a property this central in Ghent.

Cosy Double Room
The entry-level room and the only category where small dogs are permitted (room 101). Warm décor with all the standard amenities. Compact but well-equipped. Good pick if you are mostly out exploring and just need a comfortable base.
Exceptional Double Room
Larger rooms with upgraded bathrooms featuring both shower and bathtub. Bathrobes and slippers included. Some rooms have balconies looking over the Patershol district and Gravensteen Castle. One room in this category is fully accessible for guests with reduced mobility.
Exceptional Double Room With View
Canal-facing rooms with double bed or four-poster bed option, shower and bathtub, and bathrobes and slippers. Exceptional Terrace Room
A room type specifically bookable for guests wanting a private terrace. Room 30 on the third floor (and the room opposite) have been singled out by guests for terraces overlooking the canal. Availability is limited — email the hotel to check.
Family Room (Duplex)
Two-floor duplex ideal for families. Ground floor sitting area with sofabed; upper floor for the main bed. Bathroom with full bathtub, shower, and Geberit toilet. One of the few room types that comfortably fits two adults and two children.
Luxury Double Room
A step up from the Cosy category. Individually decorated with warm tones, modern bathroom with shower. Can accommodate an extra child (€20 incl. breakfast) or adult (€30 incl. breakfast). Hypo-allergenic bedding available.
Luxury Double Room With View
Looks out over the canal or the oldest parts of the city. A real step up in atmosphere — waking up to water and medieval rooftops makes the price difference worthwhile for most guests.
Luxury Twin Room
Same spec as the Luxury Double but configured for two separate beds. Note: some rooms have twin beds that are pushed together when a double configuration is requested — confirm your preference at booking.
Suite Double
First-floor suite with double bed plus a sofabed for two, making it suitable for a family of four. Bathroom with shower and bathtub, bathrobes and slippers. Note: there is a small staircase at the entry. Guests describe the bathroom as spacious with original beamed ceilings in some units.

A small but well-maintained pool on the hotel premises. Open May through September, 9am to 9pm. Drinks can be ordered poolside online. Loungers available. Genuinely rare for a property this central in Ghent. Reserve a time slot at check-in during peak summer months.
