Hotel La Bisaccia sits at the far end of Baja Sardinia bay on Sardinia's northern tip, facing directly out to the La Maddalena Archipelago. Classic rustic Sardinian style — whitewashed walls, terracotta roofs, white floor tiles — spread across 50 hectares of Mediterranean scrub and flower gardens. Guided trekking excursion to the Capo Testa Isthmus Nature Park near Santa Teresa di Gallura. Runs Mondays and Saturdays. 2-3 hours at medium difficulty, up to +100m elevation. Passes through Valle della Luna coves and finishes with a walk in Santa Teresa town centre.
Off-site experience near Sant'Antonio di Gallura in a country house surrounded by cork trees. Learn to bake 'lu coccu' unleavened bread, prepare 'mazza frissa', fresh ravioli, and seada (cheese and honey dessert) under guidance from a local grandmother.
