Why It Matters
One of Baden-Württemberg's longest-running Michelin-starred restaurants (star held since 1987), still owner-operated by the founding family. Chef Franz Feckl trained under Eckart Witzigmann and Heinz Winkler at Tantris in Munich before building his own signature here.
Landhaus Feckl is a family-run 4-star country house hotel in Ehningen, just outside Stuttgart, operated by Manuela and Franz Feckl since 1985. The real draw is the Michelin-starred restaurant — Chef Franz has held that star continuously since 1987, making this one of Baden-Württemberg's most enduring fine-dining addresses. The hotel area sits on a popular cycling network. The Romantic Break package includes an E-bike tour along the museum cycling path. A longer route goes to the Stuttgart wine-growing museum on the Württemberg wine cycle path.
