A 17-room boutique hotel inside an 11th-century Catalan farmhouse (masia) that once served as a convent, sitting on a 12-hectare estate of olive groves and vineyards in the village of Pau. The contemporary renovation works with the original stone walls and beamed ceilings rather than against them — the result feels calm and grounded, not fussy. Roses beach is 10 minutes by car; Cadaqués is 30 minutes. The Dalí museum is nearby. This is genuinely rural Costa Brava, far from the package-holiday strip.
