Why It Matters
One of Switzerland's few hotels designated as having an art history of national significance. Continuously family-operated for over 180 years — longer than the Swiss federal state itself has existed in its modern form. The hotel's position directly on the Schweizerhofquai gives it one of the best waterfront spots in central Lucerne, a 5-minute walk from the train station and the KKL Culture and Congress Centre.
