Why It Matters

Awarded a Michelin Key 2025 as the sole property recognized in Northwest Argentina. A Relais & Châteaux member with a storied past: the estate was originally built over 130 years ago by a wealthy Saltean family, later purchased by American actor Robert Duvall (whose wife is Argentine), before the Fenestraz family transformed it into one of Argentina's standout rural retreats.

House of Jasmines is a century-old estancia at the foot of the Andes, about 15 minutes from downtown Salta and 10 minutes from the airport. The rambling adobe-style mansion sits on 100 hectares of gardens, with the Arenales River running along the property and red-clay cliffs rising in the distance. Owned and run by the French-Argentine Fenestraz family, it holds both a Relais & Châteaux membership and a Michelin Key 2025, making it the only property so recognized in all of Northwest Argentina.
