Why It Matters

Michelin Key 2024 and 2025. Internationally recognized for interior design and architectural restoration. One of only a handful of truly boutique properties (9 suites) in Roma Norte that blends 1913 heritage with genuinely original modern design. The orange trees in the garden were planted by Ignacia herself.

A 1913 Porfirian mansion in Colonia Roma Norte that's been transformed into one of the most design-forward small hotels in Mexico City. Architect Fermín Espinosa and designer Andrés Gutiérrez added a contemporary wing to the century-old casona, connecting old and new with a glass-enclosed bridge — the kind of project that lands in architecture magazines. Nine suites, complimentary breakfast from a home kitchen, daily cocktail hour in the garden, and a staff that guests rave about by name. It's named after Ignacia, the housekeeper who ran this house for over 70 years.
