Why It Matters
Rare combination of boutique scale (just 55 rooms) and full InterContinental service infrastructure, including Golden Keys concierge. The hotel sits on one of Paris's most prestigious residential avenues, a 5-minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, yet Avenue Marceau itself is quiet. The post-renovation design is widely praised by editorial outlets and Michelin. The onsite Mido Paris restaurant — a Nikkei fusion concept from La Môme Groupe — is genuinely a destination in its own right.
This was once the private residence of the Count de Breteuil, built in 1879 with a classic Haussmann facade. After two years of total renovation (completed 2022), it came back as the InterContinental Paris - Champs-Élysées Étoile — dropping its old 'Avenue Marceau' name in the process. At just 55 rooms and suites, it punches well above its weight: boutique-hotel intimacy with full InterContinental service and Golden Keys concierge. Not a room to be stuck in all day, but perfectly fine for two if you're here to explore Paris.
