Jamaica Inn has been the same family's project since 1958 — and it shows. Set on eight acres of private grounds with a 700-foot crescent beach, this boutique resort near Ocho Rios is the kind of place that was drawing Winston Churchill, Marilyn Monroe, Noël Coward, and Ian Fleming before most of today's luxury hotels even existed. The vibe is classic-casual: white wicker, antique furniture, afternoon tea on the terrace, and complimentary Planter's Punch delivered to your sun lounger at 11:30am sharp. There are no TVs in most rooms — intentional, and polarizing.
