JANEIRO is a 19-story beachfront tower sitting directly on Leblon beach — one of Rio's most exclusive residential stretches — with unobstructed Atlantic views from every one of its 51 rooms. Opened in 2018, it is the first hotel venture from Oskar Metsavaht, the Brazilian artist, physician, and founder of global fashion label Osklen, who designed the interiors around his personal vision of the carioca lifestyle: sustainably-sourced freijó wood, travertine marble, pirarucu fish skin leather accents, vintage surfboards on the walls, and porthole-style circular windows that frame the ocean like photographs. The result feels more like a chic Leblon apartment owned by someone with taste than a hotel — intentionally so.

The flagship room and largest in the hotel, occupying the top floor with a panoramic seafront view fully integrated with the horizon. Includes a complimentary 50-minute massage per guest at the Mini Spa.

An intimate top-floor suite — the only one of its kind — with side ocean views and a panoramic perspective of Cristo Redentor and the city.
