Boutique Hotel
Historic stone architecture meets refined modern comfort. The aesthetic is warm and earthy — raw materials softened by carefully chosen furniture and Molton Brown toiletries. Small, intimate, owner-operated feel.
Book the boat tours when you reserve — the half-day cruise to caves with snorkeling gear included is frequently cited as a trip highlight
Why It Matters
Selected by both the Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels. One of very few upscale lodging options at the far southern tip of mainland Greece. The 1872 building is a genuine local landmark, and the waterfront positioning is unique in this small village. The Kassis family still runs it.
A 150-year-old stone grocery store — once serving fishermen, merchants, and apparently pirates — converted into a 15-room boutique hotel right on the harbor of Gerolimenas. The building dates to 1872 and was renovated by the Kassis family with serious attention to the original architecture: exposed stone walls, vaulted wooden beams, and poured concrete floors. Across the street from the entrance is the hotel's private beach club setup, with sun loungers and umbrellas arranged along the village's natural harbor. Most rooms look straight out to sea.
