Vintage Portland
Urban-artsy boutique with a strong wine-country identity. Portland-weird by design — cheeky, creative, and genuinely fun rather than stuffy.
Book a hot tub room (Studio Suite Spa or Reserve Suite Spa) early — they fill fast and guests rave about them
Why It Matters
One of Portland's oldest operating hotels (1894 redbrick building on the National Register of Historic Places), reimagined as a wine-themed boutique property with one of the most distinct lobby experiences in the city: a daily hosted wine hour, a grape-bunch chandelier, a painting of Bacchus with a nipple ring, and a floating staircase leading to an adult game lounge.
A 117-room boutique hotel inside a 10-story redbrick building that's been standing on SW Broadway since 1894 — and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The exterior is classic Portland; the interior is anything but. Graffiti-inspired cork art, a lobby tasting room, a wine cellar for private events, and an adults-only game lounge stocked with pool, shuffleboard, and vintage consoles make this one of the most characterful places to sleep downtown. Rooms are named after Oregon wines and each one comes with a bottle from its namesake.
