Cosy Double
The entry-level category but not an afterthought. These rooms have views across the lawns toward Loch na Dal. Those in the North Lodge have traditional grandeur with lovely light; South Lodge rooms are more contemporary and full of character. All have quintessential Skye vistas.
Luxury
Spacious rooms ideal for a quiet retreat. Sofas or armchairs to sink into, large bathrooms with separate bath and shower. North Lodge versions are crisp and bright with great light; South Lodge rooms are contemporary with plenty of character. Each has its own warm, restful quality.
Suite
The largest rooms in the house, all found in the South Lodge. Separate sitting room plus bedroom, with bathrooms to match. The views directly over Loch na Dal are the best on the property. Well-suited to families or anyone who wants proper space to spread out.

Self-guided beachcombing along Loch na Dal at low tide, hill walking up to the former settlement of Leitir Fura, and exploring the loch-side grounds. Maps available from staff. No guide required.
Guided walks across Kinloch's estate and the surrounding landscape — from beachcombing on Loch na Dal at low tide to hill walking up to the ruined settlement of Leitir Fura. Maps also available from staff for self-guided routes.
Set out at dawn with a packed Kinloch breakfast for the stalking grounds. Roe Buck from April–June; Red Stags July–October 15. Whether you go with a rifle or a camera, the ghillie handles all the guidance.
Guided fly fishing with the resident ghillie. Casting tuition available. April–June targets wild brown trout; July–October 15 switches to salmon. Peaceful loch-side settings throughout.
Head out with ghillie Mitchell Partridge along the shores of Loch na Dal and through Kinloch Forest in search of edible mushrooms, wild garlic, sorrel, seaweeds, mussels, samphire, and scurvy grass — whatever the season offers. The morning ends with a foraged cocktail (or mocktail) back at the lodge.
A two-night package with a full day guided by local otter specialists with 25+ years of experience on Skye. Otters are regularly seen from the shore of Loch na Dal. Package includes 2 nights dinner B&B plus one full day's wildlife watching. Available Monday–Friday only.
