Kivotos is the original boutique hotel of Mykonos — opened in 1993 by the Michopoulos family and still family-run today. It sits at the quieter, windward end of Ornos Bay, about 3km from Mykonos Town, with 40 suites and villas cascading down a rocky hillside to a private beach. The architecture blends classic Cycladic whitewash with wood, stone, and Pentelic marble; every room is individually decorated by artists and local craftsmen, which means no two spaces look the same.
