A 44-room Victorian townhouse on a quiet, tree-lined cul-de-sac in one of London's priciest postcodes. Part of Firmdale's Townhouse Collection, it sits a few steps from Harrods and Harvey Nichols but feels genuinely tucked away. Every room is individually designed by Kit Kemp — bold fabrics, original British art, granite-and-oak bathrooms — and no two look alike. No restaurant on-site, which keeps things intimate; breakfast and afternoon tea happen in the Drawing Room or Library instead.

Deluxe Room
Kit Kemp-designed in her fresh modern English style — expect bold fabrics, rich colours, and a granite-and-oak bathroom. Equipped with flat-screen LCD TV, Bose SoundLink, Tivoli radio, high-speed Wi-Fi, Chromecast, minibar, writing desk, and personal safe. Some Deluxe rooms can accommodate extra beds. Rooms are well-appointed but on the compact side; this is a Victorian townhouse, not a purpose-built hotel block.
Junior Suite
Eight Junior Suites in the hotel, each with its own distinct Kit Kemp design — no two share the same look or colour palette. Light and bright with a proper sitting area, writing desk, flat-screen LCD TVs, Bose SoundLink, Chromecast, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are granite and oak. These are the rooms that regularly pull the best guest reviews for space and character.
Knightsbridge Suite
The largest suite in the hotel and the clear headline room. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the tree-lined Beaufort Gardens, letting in a lot of light. Distinctive patterned fabrics in calming shades of blue, hand-embroidered details, its own fireplace, and a double-basin bathroom in granite and oak with a separate walk-in shower. The Suite Experience package adds in-suite check-in, unpacking service, champagne, fresh flowers, iPad/MacBook, and daily newspapers.
Luxury Room
One step up from Deluxe, individually styled by Kit Kemp with the same emphasis on colour, craft, and original artworks. Full in-room amenity set including Bose SoundLink, Tivoli radio, Chromecast, flat-screen TV, minibar, and writing desk. Bathrooms in granite and oak. Be aware that some Luxury Room configurations run narrow — a legitimate complaint in guest reviews.

Can arrange airport transfers, car hire, restaurant reservations in the neighbourhood (Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Sumosan Twiga are within walking distance), tickets to local attractions, and car pick-up service. The hotel itself is effectively a design exhibition. Guests can explore Kit Kemp's creative vision through the individually designed rooms, curated artworks (including African-influenced textiles and original British art), and bespoke furnishings throughout. The brand also has a Kit Kemp Design Thread blog and a Shop Kit Kemp for guests who want to take the aesthetic home.

Two beautifully designed ground-floor common rooms, each with a working fireplace, a curated collection of original British art, and comfortable seating. Available exclusively to hotel guests. Also available for private hire for intimate events. Perfect for quiet reading, a nightcap from the Honesty Bar, or catching up over afternoon tea.

There is no pool or gym at the Knightsbridge Hotel. Guests wanting these facilities should look at other Firmdale properties or note that Hyde Park (with its Serpentine) is a 9-minute walk.
