The only hotel in the world where Kosta Boda's own designers shaped every inch of the building, and where 50 million SEK of art glass hangs on the walls, sits on the bars, and floats in the pool — and you can buy any of it.
A 4-star design hotel in Sweden's Kingdom of Crystal where the glass is the whole point. Seven world-famous Kosta Boda designers — including Bertil Vallien and Kjell Engman — shaped every corridor, room, and bar, filling the place with around 50 million SEK worth of art glass, all of which is actually for sale. Every guest gets a specially designed glass gift on arrival. The spa goes full glass-themed too: underwater art installations in the pool, and a signature hot-glass massage treatment you won't find anywhere else.

Art Deluxe Room
Steps up from the Art Room with extra space and a two-seater sofa that converts to two additional beds — making it useful for families or groups. Same level of Kosta Boda designer art (~100,000 SEK worth), DUX beds, and 40-inch TV. All rooms fully air-conditioned with minibar, coffee maker, safe, bathrobe and slippers.
Art Experience Room
The top tier — these are the showpieces. Bullet-proof glass and art valued at 150,000–200,000 SEK. Bigger layout with a corner sofa and dedicated writing area. Bathroom includes both a full bath and a separate shower corner. 48-inch TV. Full air conditioning. The hotel lists these as its Superior and DeLuxe categories (3 Superior, 2 DeLuxe).
Art Room
The hotel's entry room — and still loaded with about 100,000 SEK worth of individually curated Kosta Boda glass art. Each is designed by one of the seven house designers, so no two look alike. Two 90cm Dux beds, two Ihreborn armchairs, and a 40-inch TV. Allergy-friendly throughout. Six of the Art Rooms come with a bathtub. Some are dog-friendly.

An old Glasriket tradition: an evening in the historic glassblowing cabin with authentic Småland food cooked in the cold ovens, drinks, entertainment, and master-level glassblowing demonstrations. Available on selected dates.
Try your hand at traditional glassblowing in the historic cabin setting — an experience that connects directly to the region's centuries-old craft. Also offered as part of conference and group packages.
Three tree houses — the Red Deer, the Elk, and the Bison — built on four-metre high pillars inside Kosta Safaripark, where wild animals roam below. Available April 1 – September 30. Bookable as a standalone package through the hotel.
An annual wine and food festival held at Craft Arena, the hotel's events space. Exhibitors, wine tastings and more. 2026 date: Saturday, October 3.

Approximately 450 metres from the hotel, Kosta Outlet offers 20,000 sq ft of Kosta Boda and Orrefors glass and design shopping.
