L'Aiguille Grive
Contemporary alpine boutique. Design-forward but genuinely warm — small enough that the manager Julie knows your name. Think clean lines, wood and glass, not dusty tartan and mounted antlers.
The complimentary sauna must be pre-booked — don't leave it until after skiing or you'll miss out
Why It Matters
The only true ski-in/ski-out hotel in Arc 1800 with actual chalet-rental privacy backed by full 4-star hotel services. Guests vote it the #1 hotel in Les Arcs five years running. The snowcat pickup from the car park at arrival is memorable.
L'Aiguille Grive is a 4-star boutique chalet-hotel sitting directly on the pistes of Arc 1800, not accessible by car in winter. Seven interconnected wooden chalets — six residential, one housing the reception, restaurant and bar — are linked by covered walkways and designed in the contemporary spirit of Charlotte Perriand's original Les Arcs architecture. The whole setup gets you ski-in, ski-out access to 425 km of Paradiski terrain, with every room and chalet facing panoramic views of Mont Blanc.

How you'll actually spend your days.
Archery available on-site or nearby; fees may apply.
The adjacent 18-hole Chantel golf course (par 70, 5,497 metres) opens in summer, typically early July to early September. The hotel partners with the golf course for preferential rates on green fees when booking direct. Driving range on-site.
An annual food, wine and music pairing event held at the hotel in July — local wines matched to seasonal dishes, accompanied by live chamber music on the terrace. Typically held around July 20.
Guests renting a whole chalet can request the hotel chef to cook a meal on-site in the chalet kitchen. Supplement applies. The kitchen is exclusively for the chef's use — no self-catering.
Slope access directly from the hotel, positioned at the junction of two blue runs (Charmettoger and Belvédère). Two skiing minutes from the Trans-Arc gondola. The full Paradiski area covers 425 km of runs from 1,200 to 3,226 m elevation, including Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne.
Snowshoeing available in the surrounding resort area, organised from Les Arcs.
