L'Isle de Leos
Intimate Provençal guest house meets considered design hotel. Warm, art-filled, river-facing. Think real antique objects, natural stone and wood, local estate products, and a sense that you're staying in someone's beautifully curated home — not a chain property.
The Presidential Suite has unobstructed Sorgue and Poets' Garden views from a private terrace — worth the splurge
Why It Matters
The newest 5-star hotel in a town famous for antiques and waterways. Designed by architect Jean-Philippe Nuel, with a signature 8-meter terracotta tile artwork inside. Patrick Bruel's backing means genuine Domaine de Leos estate products (olive oil, wine, honey) integrated throughout the restaurant and spa. The spa has earned the Spa-A certification. Built on the ancient ramparts with Sorgue river views from many rooms.
L'Isle de Leos opened in September 2025, built into the ancient ramparts of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue right on the banks of the Sorgue river. This is Patrick Bruel's passion project — the French entertainer translated his love of the Provence region into a 49-room boutique hotel under the MGallery by Accor umbrella. Rooms mix stone, warm wood, and Provençal tiles with actual antiques, old books, and curated art objects. The 440m² spa runs deep on olive therapy treatments, and Europe's biggest Sunday antique market is literally on your doorstep.

Seasonal grape harvest and tasting sessions using Domaine de Leos wines, which are also served throughout the hotel's dining spaces.

An exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue with a local guide. Covers secret spots, craftsmen's workshops, forgotten alleys, and local heritage — not the standard tourist circuit.
Over 300 antique dealers and artisans set up every Sunday in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, literally steps from the hotel entrance. One of the biggest antique markets in Europe. Larger international fairs run around Easter and August 15th.
