Why It Matters
Córdoba's only government-designated Monument Hotel, formed from three buildings that span Roman, Arab, Jewish, and Christian history. One of just a handful of Monument Hotels in all of Spain. Winner of the Cordoba City Council Tourism Innovation Award 2023 and Best Rusticae Hotel 2024.
Six rooms spread across three adjoined historic buildings — a Baroque chapel from 1700, the hermit's house next door (built 1753), and a tenement entered through a grand horseshoe arch dating to 1878. Spain officially classifies this as Córdoba's only Monument Hotel, a designation from the Regional Ministry of Tourism of Andalusia. Each room tells a different story: the Well Room has an ancient well uncovered during restoration, the Duplex has original 1700 stone walls, the Arch Room looks directly onto the Caliphate arch courtyard. The top-floor Terrace Suite gets its own 30 m² rooftop with a small plunge pool and direct sightlines to the Mosque-Cathedral. The restoration involved historians, restorers from the Prado Museum, and the University of Córdoba. Opened in 2021.

Two-level room with double-height ceilings. The lower level is the living area with two balconies overlooking Plaza de Abades — you get the square, the orange trees, and the neighbourhood buzz. The flagship room.
