La Tartane is a 27-room boutique hotel designed as a Provençal hamlet, set in a 2-hectare Mediterranean garden midway between the Saint-Tropez port and Plage des Salins. Six stucco houses — each named after a 1920s Riviera figure (Ernest, Peggy, Pablo, Gabrielle, Sara, Scott) — hold the rooms and suites. The interiors were designed by Jordan Arrivetz of Maison Notoire Paris, with hand-painted artwork throughout by Brazilian artist João Incerti. Rooms are small by luxury standards, but the outdoor space is genuinely beautiful.

The most spacious of the room categories (not yet a full suite), running 32–35 sqm with a proper seating area and a large furnished private terrace surrounded by greenery. Bathroom has both walk-in shower and bathtub. Good choice for guests who want serious outdoor space without the suite price.

First-floor rooms that open onto a shared patio — good for socialising but not private. King bed, garden views, air conditioning, minibar. Most rooms in this category sit between 21 and 24 sqm, which is on the smaller side, though the patio adds breathing room.

Garden-level rooms with independent access from the outside and a private planted terrace — the step up from Patio rooms and worth it for the privacy. Between 23 and 27 sqm. One accessible (PMR) room available in this category.

Suite Duplex
55 sqm spread over two floors, with separate bedroom, living room, and a private treed terrace screened from other guests. The headline feature is direct access to the pool — no walking through hotel common areas. Best suite option for those who want the pool on tap.

The most architecturally interesting room in the hotel — 45–50 sqm arranged across three levels. Ground floor has a large bathroom with both Italian shower and bathtub. First floor is the lounge opening onto a private terrace. The king bedroom sits up on the mezzanine third level. Unusual layout but genuinely airy and interesting.
