Why It Matters

Lampa Design Hotel is a 20-room boutique in the Şişli neighborhood, built around the owner Orhan Utan's personal collection of antique gas lamps — which you'll spot incorporated into the architecture itself. The aesthetic is modern industrial: iron, glass, marble staircases, cast-in mosaic, and generous metal hardware on the ground floor, giving way to warmer parquet floors and original artwork by avant-garde painter Fikret Mualla Saygı upstairs. King or Twin · 18 sqmDeluxe Terrace Room
The top room type and the only one worth writing home about if space matters to you. At 30sqm, it comes with a private balcony with outdoor furniture, a jacuzzi, a sitting area, and a sofa-bed that allows for up to 3 guests. Only two of these in the hotel, so they go fast. The marble bathroom has both a rain shower and the jacuzzi.
