The period façade has been kept; inside, everything is contemporary — blues and grays, clean lines, maritime touches like a boat-keel-shaped reception desk and oar-shaped copper plaques on the walls. Fifty-eight rooms, fully soundproofed despite the lively location, and a rooftop terrace that claims to be the only elevated point in the Old Town with a 360° view of La Concha Bay, the port, and the city skyline all at once.

Corner position means more windows, more natural light, and views across multiple angles of the Old Town. Good if you want the historical-city outlook but with more airiness and light than a standard room.
Historical
Overlooks San Sebastián's Old Town rather than the sea. Same contemporary interior and fixtures, with the character of the city's historic quarter as your outlook. A solid choice if you're less fussed about water views.
Petite
The entry-level room at Lasala Plaza. Compact — the hotel's own website acknowledges these suit a solo traveler or a short stay. Same quality fixtures as the rest of the hotel: 300-thread-count linens, Nespresso machine, Japanese WC, rain shower. Views are of the city rather than the sea.
Petite Sea View
Compact room with direct views of La Concha Bay and the harbor. Same fixtures as the Petite, but with bay windows facing the sea. Good entry point for sea views without paying for a larger category.
Port View
Positioned on the first floor with direct views of San Sebastián's fishing port. The harbor activity — boats, the old town waterfront — is right outside. A livelier outlook than the bay-facing rooms in some respects.
Premium Historical
One of the larger rooms in the hotel, with Old Town views and exceptionally high ceilings. Large balcony doors open directly onto Plaza Lasala. Includes a sofa bed, making it suitable for up to three or even four guests — unusual for a hotel this refined. No sea view, but the plaza outlook and extra space make it genuinely good value for the size.
Privileged Sea View
The top standard sea-facing category before the suite. Panoramic views of the harbor and La Concha Bay from a higher floor position, with the premium finishing expected at this level. Specifically recommended by the hotel for guests seeking ocean views.
Sea View
Direct panoramic views of La Concha Bay and the harbor. This is where the hotel's setting fully comes into its own. Bay windows and good-sized rooms. The Michelin Guide specifically calls these out alongside Historical rooms as where 'you'll quickly find yourself with space and comfort to spare.'
Suite La Concha
The flagship room, occupying the entire 6th floor top of the building. 48–50 sqm with a separate living room, both a bathtub and a rain shower in the bathroom, and unobstructed La Concha Bay views.
