Le 1932 Cap d'Antibes
Interwar Art Deco glamour meets contemporary Riviera cool. The whole place leans into the Jazz Age without becoming a theme park — think geometric patterns, chrome fixtures, and a rooftop that doubles as a genuine social scene in summer.
Book the Quinto Cielo rooftop before you arrive — it's open to the public in summer and fills up fast
Why It Matters
One of the few mid-century Art Deco hotels on the Riviera that has been sympathetically restored rather than gutted. The rooftop Quinto Cielo restaurant and lounge-bar — open to the public in summer — is a legitimate destination in its own right, with panoramic Mediterranean views and an Italian-Spanish menu.
Built in 1932 by architect Georges Dikansky and fully renovated in spring 2022, this 4-star Art Deco boutique hotel sits between Juan-les-Pins and Cap d'Antibes on the French Riviera. The renovation kept the black-and-white tile work, chrome details, and geometric motifs intact while modernising everything else. Sixty-four rooms, a rooftop restaurant with Mediterranean views, a CODAGE Paris spa, and a heated pool on the fifth floor make it a genuinely complete package for the Côte d'Azur.
