Le Cinq Codet
Art Deco collector's loft meets contemporary Parisian design. Intimate, artsy, and quietly luxurious — not grand-palace showy, but considered and personal.

Why It Matters
One of very few Paris luxury hotels that begins with a genuine architectural story — a 1930s modernist telephone exchange — and then commits fully to that era's design language throughout. Won the ArchiDesignClub Award 2015 for interior/hotel design. Part of the 2L Collection portfolio alongside Relais & Châteaux properties.
A former 1930s France Telecom telephone exchange in the 7th arrondissement, converted in 2014 into a 67-room five-star boutique hotel by designer Jean-Philippe Nuel. The building has the curved silhouette of an ocean liner and the interior feels more like a collector's loft than a traditional grand hotel — 400 unique works of art scattered through common areas and rooms, 5.5-meter ceilings in the duplex rooms, and terraces that look out over the Invalides dome and the Eiffel Tower. It sits on a quiet residential street between Les Invalides and the Champ de Mars, about 15 minutes' walk from the Eiffel Tower.
