Antique Florentine farmhouse fantasy meets understated luxury. Rooms are individually hand-painted by Florentine artist Francesca Guicciardini, furnished with antique and artisan pieces, and named after the trees and shrubs growing on the estate. Le Lappe is an 11-suite relais spread across two restored stone farmhouses in the Chianti hills between Florence and Arezzo, at around 620 metres altitude. The estate traces its origins to around 1000 AD and was painstakingly restored by owner Maria Lorenza Benini between the 1990s and 2010. Ten of the eleven suites have working stone fireplaces and hydromassage tubs; the restaurant cooks with km-0 ingredients and the estate's own organic olive oil from over 3,000 trees.

Second floor of the main farmhouse. Four deep windows with window seats for reading or stargazing. Whirlpool tub exposed in the sleeping area, separated by a brick arch. Decorated in soft olive-green and rose sunrise tones, with a large mirror crowning the bed. Especially romantic.

The largest ground-floor suite in the main building, with its own entrance via two French doors. The standout is the cave-style bathroom accessed down a few steps, set under stone vaults: twin sinks, separate shower, and a large Jacuzzi. Sofa and desk make it ideal for longer stays.

Second floor of the smaller farmhouse, entered through a small lounge shared only with I Tigli. Sober, elegant style with stylized lily motifs on teal walls. Two windows face the forest. Exposed whirlpool tub is separate from the shower stall.
