Le Mas les Eydins
Chef-owned Provençal farmhouse: relaxed luxury, deeply personal, more intimate dinner-party than resort hotel. No lobby, no concierge desk — Alexandra greets you at the gate herself.
Book La Table des Amis at the same time you book your room — they fill independently and dinner is the highlight of the stay
Why It Matters
Christophe Bacquié holds 2 Michelin stars and a Meilleur Ouvrier de France title. La Table des Amis is rated 17/20 by Gault & Millau, one of the most lauded new restaurant openings in Provence. The property is listed on Tablet Hotels and in the Michelin Guide's hotel selection.
A 19th-century Provençal bastide outside Bonnieux, now running as an intimate guest house and 2-Michelin-star restaurant under chef Christophe Bacquié (MOF) and his wife Alexandra. Seven rooms and cottages across the property, all named after Provençal botanicals. The restaurant — La Table des Amis — is the real draw: a single set menu of six courses, served at a communal table or on the terrace, with serious wine from Christophe's personal cellar. But the rooms themselves hold up too: spacious, carefully decorated, and framed by olive groves, lavender fields, and views across the Petit Luberon to the hilltop villages of Bonnieux and Lacoste.
