The spa runs on its own aromatherapy philosophy, Ennea, developed specifically for the property.
A 5-star Provençal estate sitting on 8 hectares just outside Gordes, one of the most photographed villages in France. The property takes its name from the ancient dry-stone shepherds' huts — bories — that dot the grounds among lavender, olive groves and cypress trees; some have been restored and woven directly into the hotel's architecture. Thirty-four rooms and suites, a Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant, a bistrot, a seasonal pool club, and a 400 sq.m aromatherapy spa round out a property that earns its stars.

The entry-level category, set in a building connected to the main house. At 25 sq.m these are compact but done in clean Provençal style. Views are onto the stone courtyard rather than the landscape — quiet and sheltered but don't expect drama from the window.

A step up in size (30–35 sq.m) with a private balcony. The 'Or des Sauges' name references the golden sage of Provence. Can accommodate up to 3 guests. Modern, refined interiors with a Provençal palette.

The top of the range. At 65 sq.m with a separate bedroom, a living room, a terrace, and panoramic views over the Luberon — this is as good as it gets here. Sleeps up to 4. The marble bathroom is a selling point. Book this one well ahead for summer.

Junior Suite Lilly Room (Chambre des Lys)
Classified as a junior suite and sitting in the 30–35 sq.m range with a private terrace. Modern and refined, with all-mod-con comforts. Fits up to 3 guests. The 'Lys' (lily) theme runs through the décor.
