Les Jardins d'Anaïs
Romantic, character-driven boutique guesthouse. Each room has a distinct decorative personality — library, colonial, Provence, safari — so you're not walking into another anonymous luxury box. The kitchen is open-plan into the dining room, which tells you everything about how the place is wired: food first, then everything else.
Book the Week-end Experience package if dining in — it bundles a 6-course menu with wine pairing and breakfast at a better-than-à-la-carte rate
Why It Matters
Michelin Guide Selected hotel and long-time holder of a Michelin restaurant star (currently working with chef Fabrice Salvador after multiple chef changes). The restaurant's veranda looks over a private garden and vineyard — rare in a capital city. Two private salons make it work for intimate corporate events or family occasions. One of Luxembourg City's most distinctive small properties.
Seven rooms, one Michelin-recognized restaurant, and two owners who are genuinely obsessed with food and wine. Annabelle Hazard and Pascal Soutiran run Les Jardins d'Anaïs from a handsome ivy-and-rhododendron-covered house in the Clausen district — Luxembourg City's historic riverside quarter — about five minutes from the center by car. The garden looks out toward Robert Schuman's former house, and on a clear day you can see the small vineyard running along the water feature. It's intimate in scale and personal in feel, more like staying with very culinarily accomplished friends than checking into a hotel.
