Les Vagues is Arcachon's first 5-star hotel, opened July 2024. It sits directly on the waterfront at 9 Boulevard de l'Océan, with Plage Pereire just 300 metres away and direct beach access from the spa terrace. Designed by Christophe San José and his team under Anaïs San José, the interiors draw on maritime heritage: white-and-blue tones, natural Landes pine, a reception desk inspired by mooring bollards, lower floors styled like elegant beach cabins, upper floors with a sleek nautical-yacht feel. The rooftop is the highest point in Arcachon.

The entry-level category at Les Vagues. Views face inland over Arcachon's elegant Victorian-era Ville d'Hiver district rather than the sea. Compact but well-designed at 22–25 sqm, with a Queen or King bed, Italian walk-in shower, and full-width bay windows that open completely to the outside. Clean maritime palette, Phytomer toiletries, Smart TV. One room in this category is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
