One of Athens' original design boutique hotels — opened 2004, still going strong. The glass-wall pool surrounded by pine trees is genuinely unlike anything else in the city. The Ananea Wellness spa operates in partnership with Orloff Experts and uses Valmont and Cinq Mondes product lines. Art from the Mamidakis Foundation hangs in every room. But look — you need a car or taxi to reach Acropolis-area sights (about 35 min drive). That's the trade-off.
