Limestone is a five-suite cave hotel carved into a restored 1925 yposkafa mansion on the caldera's edge in Kato (lower) Fira. The building is the whole point: traditional black and red volcanic stone, pumice, and Theran earth shaped into Cycladic-minimalist suites with all-white interiors, curved stone walls, and private terraces staring straight at the volcano. No pool, no restaurant, no gym — just five well-appointed suites, Greek breakfast delivered to your door each morning, and some of the most unobstructed caldera views you'll find on the island without fighting tourist crowds.

Honeymoon Executive Suite
The top-of-range suite at Limestone, and arguably the most dramatic cave space on this stretch of caldera. At roughly 80 sqm (40 sqm interior plus a massive 40 sqm terrace), it features a separate boudoir room that can serve as a dressing room or second sleeping area. The terrace has its own private entrance — which makes it a legitimate wedding reception venue for intimate ceremonies. The outdoor heated jacuzzi sits on the split-level terrace with uninterrupted caldera views. Every luxury detail is present: Coco-Mat mattresses, magnifying mirror, sofa bed, full amenity set.
King · 80 sqmHoneymoon Suite
The headline cave suite that made Limestone famous. About 70 sqm total living space (roughly 40 sqm indoors plus a 25 sqm semi-covered terrace), sleeping up to three guests. The all-white Cycladic interior blends curving stone walls with contemporary furniture. Step onto the terrace and the heated outdoor hot tub faces straight at the caldera and volcano — and because most suites face west, you're watching the sunset from the water. Coco-Mat beds, a full pillow menu, minibar, espresso maker, luxury bath products.

The entry-level suite, and still genuinely impressive. A split-level cave space of about 35 sqm with Coco-Mat orthomatic mattresses, pillow menu, and a 10 sqm private terrace. The outdoor covered hot tub sits right on the terrace with a caldera view — you can see the volcano from bed through the window. Cozy rather than spacious, and a few guests note the bed entry is from the foot end in certain units. But the view and the hot tub more than compensate.
Queen · 35 sqmSuperior Suite
The most versatile suite and the only one with both an indoor AND outdoor hot tub. At 75 sqm it sleeps up to four guests on a mix of beds and a sofabed, making it the best option for small families or groups (though children must be 13+). The 25 sqm split-level private terrace looks straight at the caldera. Twice-daily housekeeping, sofa bed, dining table, full suite amenities. Guests specifically call out the indoor jacuzzi as a bonus in cooler shoulder-season weather.
