You drive down the Overseas Highway to the relatively unassuming Little Torch Key, then transfer by private motor yacht — named for Harry Truman, one of the island's most famous former guests — to 30 thatched-roof bungalow suites with outdoor copper tubs and zero televisions. Adults only, no audible cell phones, and the loudest thing you'll hear is the tide.

The entry-level suite at 550 sq ft, but entry-level here still means outdoor bamboo shower, butterfly netting, British West Indies charm, ocean views, private furnished deck, and a luxurious bathroom with mother-of-pearl tiles. A separate living room rounds it out. 11 of these on property.
KingIsland Grand Suite
1,000 sq ft of coastal elegance with a his-and-her bathroom setup that sets it apart from the Premier. Features a four-poster bed, teak plantation shutters, iron and crystal chandeliers, outdoor copper tub, expansive private deck, and exclusive beachside fire pit. Two of these on property.

The resort's top-tier accommodation. Located on the second floor with floor-to-ceiling windows and unobstructed ocean views, this 1,020 sq ft suite has a king-size four-poster bed with butterfly netting, a separate living room, and a large private deck with a standalone outdoor copper soaking tub and beachside fire pit area. ADA-accessible versions also available.
