Why It Matters
The world's only Hotel à Parfum — every detail, from check-in to cocktails to dinner, is orchestrated around scent. The on-site LabSolue Perfume Laboratory creates the 68 fragrances that name and scent each suite. The building runs entirely on geothermal and solar energy. During Milan Design Week, there is arguably no better address in the city.
The world's first and only Hotel à Parfum, built inside the Martone family's former Marvin perfume factory in Milan's Tortona design district. The converted industrial building is encased in plate glass and flooded with natural light — original factory bones preserved beneath polished wood floors, leather sofas, and original paintings by Brera Academy artists. All 68 suites are individually named and scented after a specific olfactory note, with amber glass diffusers, a dedicated LabSolue fragrance, and a copy of 'La Grammatica dei Profumi' by Giorgia Martone open to that suite's ingredient. At the heart of the hotel sit secret internal gardens planted with bergamots, jasmine, olive trees, and aromatic plants — all chosen for their connection to perfumery.

The Magna Pars Art Gallery has no fixed walls — it spreads through the hotel corridors, public spaces, and suites, creating a museum without boundaries. Features works by up-and-coming Milanese artists, including graduates of the Brera Academy. Open to guests and city residents.
Working with an expert Lab Tender at LabSolue, guests can select their preferred essence from raw materials and olfactory ingredients to create a personalized Eau de Parfum, ambient perfume, or scented candle. A genuinely personal souvenir.
A guided immersive journey through LabSolue's Olfactory Library of 77+ fragrances. An expert Lab Tender walks guests through the olfactory pyramids, raw materials, and the techniques of master perfumers. Guests can discover the fragrance of their suite, find their own signature scent, or have a custom Eau de Parfum, ambient perfume, or scented candle created. This is the hotel's signature experience.
