Modern Portuguese countryside luxury with a serious love of fast cars. The RPM Bar permanently displays rotating collector supercars — including, at launch, a Ferrari F1 used by Michael Schumacher and a Ferrari Monza SP2. Handrails on the main staircase are wrapped in hand-stitched leather, just like a supercar interior. The contemporary art collection, curated by Galeria Mário Sequeira, includes works by Julian Opie and André Butzer alongside Portuguese artists.

Why It Matters
First hotel in the Minho region to join The Leading Hotels of the World. It is also the first rural Portuguese property for the French Maison Albar Hotels collection. The restaurant L'Amoure is led by Michelin-starred Chef Julien Montbabut alongside local Chef Marco Silva. The 244 sqm Spa Amoure uses Ignae sustainable products and includes an indoor pool, hammam, and sauna. Only 26 rooms — it never feels like a hotel.
Maison Albar's first foray into the Portuguese countryside lands at Amoure — a clean-lined, Art Deco-inspired country estate in the village of Moure, about 45 minutes north of Porto. The Lisbon firm Domus Concept handled the architecture, swapping azulejo tradition for coffered walls, marble bathrooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows that push the rolling green hills of Minho right into your room. It opened in September 2024 and sits on 6 hectares, with a total investment of €17 million.

Amoure Suite
The flagship suite and the property's most indulgent room. A full living room with warm, harmonious tones, refined decor, and then it spills outside onto a spacious private terrace with its own jacuzzi — with views of the Portuguese hills beyond. This is the one for a special occasion.
Deluxe Room
Eight of the hotel's 20 standard rooms. Art Deco-inspired design with coffered walls, recessed lighting, marble-lined bathroom, and a private terrace with garden or hill views. Soundproofed windows, air conditioning, minibar, safe, desk, tea/coffee maker, and free toiletries included.
Grand Deluxe Room
The most numerous room type, with 12 units. Steps up from the Deluxe with larger dimensions and an even more polished finish — noble materials and silky fabrics layered over the Art Deco base. Terrace views of the hills or pool. Average room size across all 26 units is 43 sqm.

Four suites that step up in space and comfort from the standard rooms. Separate seating area, freestanding soaking tub, and private terrace. Some suites exceed 100 sqm. The hotel has four standard suites and two 'exception' suites.
Suite Rotonde
An architectural standout. The rounded shape gives it multiple windows on curved walls, flooding the room in natural light and delivering 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Bright, calm, and genuinely different from anything else at the property.

The staircase features an installation made from a deconstructed Aston Martin engine, by artist Marquesa Giroud.
The hotel maintains a permanent rotating display of collector supercars in and around the RPM Bar. At launch this included a Ferrari F1 2000 (chassis #46 from Michael Schumacher's Japanese GP win), the Ferrari Monza SP2, the Daytona SP3, and a LaFerrari — the brand's first hybrid. The collection rotates periodically with contributions from private collectors.
The hotel can arrange sport driving experiences and exclusive thematic tours with or without a chauffeur for car-enthusiast guests.
